A WORLD OF IMMATERIAL OBJECTS
SERIES: UNMANNED AND INANIMATE
The project delves into architecture and the built environment, examining how these elements are influenced by visual perception, objecthood, materiality, and their societal exchange value. The underlying hypothesis of this series posits that despite existing in public spaces, these constructions often escape notice due to their commonplace nature. The goal is to capture them in a manner that bestows upon them a newfound significance.
The belief is that by effectively portraying these structures, they undergo a metamorphosis and come to life. Within them, elements of life, humor, and surprise, whether derived from their common or unique characteristics, are discerned. Regardless of their specific attributes, the built environment is depicted devoid of human presence. It is through the portrayal of these objects that the essence of humanity is perceived.
